Although an avid fisherman in fresh water lakes and on Florida and North Carolina beaches since he was a toddler, Capt. Arch Bracher began his professional career mating on various sports fishing boats beginning in1982. Then, with the purchase of his first Pelican in 1990 (a 50 foot Sheldon Midget built boat) he began his owner/captain career becoming one of the finest sports fishing captains in the Eastern USA.
In 2000, Capt. Arch had a 56 foot, Paul Mann sport fisher custom built and the second Pelican saga began. Capt. Arch is a dedicated angler and captain as well as consistent tournament winner with a key illustration being his winning of The Master’s Sailfish Tournament in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005. In addition, he is consistently at the top of the annual billfish count at his port of call, Oregon Inlet Fishing Center, NC. |
